Here's his first rap album that came out back in 1990..."Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast"

best song off there was "Pimp of the Nation"

Or "Yod-a-lin in the Valley" (a song about eating pussy)

That album wasnt all that good. And yes Kayne, he did start as a rapper.

You should see the inside of that CD sleeve, hilarious shit. He's had a pose of him giving the finger in some fashion in every one of his albums.
1990 - "Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast"
1992 - "The Polyfuze Method"
1994 - "Fire It Up"
1996 - "Early Mornin Stoned Pimp"
1998 - "Devil Without a Cause"
2000 - "The History of Rock"
2001 - "Cocky"

beefybull are you from detroit?

the only way i had ever heard of that guy was a good friend of mine who lived up in detroit and used to go see him rap. she mailed me a copy of the pimp of the nation single on tape that had yodelin in the valley on it.

fear of a black planet was a good album, i never had that but did have "it takes a nation of millions to hold us back"

BTW.....I'M PRETTY SURE THAT ALBUM CAME OUT AFTER HE GOT HIS START BY DEEJAYING FOR CUBE ON TOUR. ATLEAST THATS WHAT I GATHER FROM INTERVIEWS I SAW OF HIM WHEN HE FIRST CAME OUT WITH DEVIL WITHOUT A CAUSE. HE WAS DEEJAYING MTV'S NEW YEARS BASH.

Not from Detroit, but I am from the Midwest. (Nowhere close to Detroit).

The first I heard of Kid Rock was the "Devil Without a Cause" album. After hearing about half of the album, I was already a fan. A must buy CD for sure.

"Fuck You Blind" (Polyfuze Method)
"Fuck You Blind Remix" (History of Rock)
"WCSR (World Class Sex Rhymes)" feat. Snoop Dogg
