If you could only buy 10 rap albums...

if I could only buy 10 rap albums - then I would make them all def leppard. or maybe poison. could I mix them up? I hope so.

what about Swollen Member's 'Balance' and Method Man's Tical albums? Those were good too.

So you would roll your eyes.;)

Nope.....I like music that makes sense.

Rap makes more sense than a lot of shit you'll hear on the radio, believe me.

Hansel,
Never heard "Swollen Member" and altho I'm a huge Wu fan and like most of Method's verses on Wu joints & guest spots, his albums were mediocre as fuck, with like 4 good songs between the two.

At least we can agree to disagree.:)

I lean heavily towards the 70's music of Doobie Brothers, Eagles, Jim Croce, etc. Age difference might have something to do with it.

LoL. We've agreed on stuff before, even gave each other green karma if i remember correctly...

I appreciate ALL kinds of music, provided its good.

I'm a big fan of The Eagles, Hendrix, Skynyrd, and a few others from that era.

Problem is, rap is full of stereotypes (comes with the territory) and you're right, there is some rap that is ignorant sounding. Do you download music?

:FRlol: Yea, I know we have!

I agree with the appreciating music viewpoint. It seems all of the rap I hear is thug related. Plus, I usually hear it rumbling past the house at about 2:00 AM in the morning or hear it "thumping" next to me at a stoplight. :FRlol:

I guess I never moved out of the 70's. No, I don't download music.

Funny thing......I have a 20 year old nephew that came to my house this past weekend. He said, come out to my car and see what I installed. It was a fucking woofer the size of his trunk with a power wire and a ground wire the size of my index finger. I asked him if he had to install a second battery to run the thing. Fucker damn near broke the windows in his car when he turned it up. I guess we are only young once.
