If you could do one thing, even if its impossible, for someone you know, to make their life better, or undo something that has happened to them in the past, what would it be?

I would make my mother's childhood a happy one instead of what it was.

I have a friend, who has a 6 month old baby, who's husband, who she was totally in love with, died when she was 4 weeks pregnant. I would stop him from getting cancer and dying.

1) Stop my mothers mother from dying of cancer when my mom was about 12. Her whole life got screwed up because of that (as did my grandfathers).

2) Take my two nieces away from my drug-addict sister-in-law and give them a decent start in life. My sis-in-law knows that I am just looking for an excuse to do this so she is behaving herself right now.

and to make another friend realise the more he get emphatuated with a women who constantly rejects him, the less likely he is to spot the other 3 better lookng ones who want him
