I did read the thread title, Thats why I said "I know the subject threw me off", but the thread is insinuating about trading them in, not re-using them.

I guess it depends if your trying to answer the title or the question.....

Good idea! Saving $15 is nowhere near the risk of getting an abcess. I had one bad and had to have surgery to cut it out. I now have a small crater in my ass.

Well, it was in the muscle, so yeah. I made the mistake of waiting for it to clear up like some of the other spots just like it had in the past. This one never cleared up and even after draining it and doing high dose antibiotic injections for a month. Had to go to an outpatient surgery clinic to have it cut out and cleaned up. Man those stiches hurt like hell, but I was back in the next week doing squats.

Now, I'm in front of my private small if we could say pharmacy. It contains about 95 slin syringes, 102 of 3 ccs ( 23 G x 1.25" ), about 160 syringes of 5 ccs ( 22 G x 1.5" )

Not to mention the cost of docotr visits and medicines for the abcess you will definetly get from re-using pins. It's a lot cheaper to buy new ones. I buy new one for every cycle.
