idea before bed meal..

i'm bulking, eat lots of protein/carbs with my meals, but before bed I was thinking maybe just have protein and some flax... like maybe a shake or some chicken/tuna with flax or PB instead of carbs because even though I'm bulking, I'd rather keep as much fat off as possible... do you guys know if this is a wise idea, or should i just eat carbs before bed too
 
You're best off to stick with protein and fat right before sleeping. The fats slow down digestion, allowing for more protein to be taken up over the course of the night.

Eating carbs with that will simply make you fat. A combination to avoid.

The ideas you posted sound like fine ones. I personally have a large meal that's weighted towards protein and fats with some carbs (but natural carbs) about two hours before bed, and chug a protein shake right before I lay down for the night. Haven't bought any flax oil to add to the shake yet, but planning on it.

If that's not enough, I'm sure you can find lots of information if you search this board.
 
Yeah I do leaner protein plus 2-3 tbsps of Flax Oil

Ex. I can tuna, 3 tbsps oil

1 lean hamburger, 3 tbsps oil

1/2 tub cottage cheese, 3 tbsps oil

etc.

Hard to make it taste good but you have to make sacrifices.
