High End Bro
Platinum
which one do you use while on cycle.........i have read that Ibuprofen hinders gains..........any truth to this?

there is no denying the power of Ibuprofen, it works

but in high does its a no no.

if I have to have some 1 200 mgs tab will do it usually, works for me if I really need it

tylenol doesnt really do shit for me these days. i use ibuprofin only. but since reading these threads a/b it i've been trying not to use it as much.

I read an article on ibuprofen on wikipedia iirc, and basically it said that 400mg doses proved to work as effectively on people who are normally used to taking 800mgs per dose. I am finding this to be true so far on myself as well.

Walmart 500 count 200mgs ibuprofen $7.00 and some change can't beat it.
:)

the clinical effectiveness of all of those will depend on the individual. those drugs vary greatly between different people.

the one to steer clear of is the paracetamol/acetaminophen, the others are safe

cheers

first think about were the head ack, pain, problum is coming from.ie what is making the pain and why.
lets make it simple pain killers make pain go away but thats it.they mask a problem you are having by taking the pain away for a wile.would it not be a smarter thing to do is fix the problem all together.

lets look at headache as one example first.what are some of the reasons we get a headache
A headache is a condition of pain in the head; sometimes neck or upper back pain may also be interpreted as a headache. It ranks amongst the most common local pain complaints.

Headaches have a wide variety of causes, ranging from eye strain, sinusitis, migraine and tension to life-threatening conditions such as encephalitis, meningitis, cerebral aneurysms and brain tumors (although more than 95% of headaches are not life-threatening). When the headache occurs in conjunction with a head injury the cause is usually quite evident; however, many causes are more unclear. The most common type of headache is a tension headache. Some experience headaches when dehydrated, or suffering from caffeine withdrawal symptoms. Headaches may also be caused in some people by certain foods, such as peanuts, or food additives, such as tartrazine.

Treatment of uncomplicated headache is usually symptomatic with over-the-counter painkillers such as aspirin, paracetamol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen, although some specific forms of headaches (e.g. migraine) may demand other, more suitable treatment, usually triptans. It may be possible to relate the occurrence of a headache to the consumption of a particular food, which can then be avoided.

There are five types of headache: vascular, myogenic (muscle tension), cervicogenic, traction, and inflammatory.

* Vascular
o The most common type of vascular headache is migraine. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head, an upset stomach, and, for some people, disturbed vision. It is more common in women. While vascular changes are evident during a migraine, the cause of the headache is neurologic, not vascular. After migraine, the most common type of vascular headache is the "toxic" headache produced by fever.
o Other kinds of vascular headaches include cluster headaches, which cause repeated episodes of intense pain, and headaches resulting from high blood pressure (rare).
* Muscular/myogenic headaches appear to involve the tightening or tensing of facial and neck muscles; they may radiate to the forehead. Tension headache is the most common form of myogenic headache.
* Cervicogenic headaches originates from disorders of the neck, including the anatomical structures innervated by the cervical roots C1–C3. Cervical headache is often precipitated by neck movement and/or sustained awkward head positioning. It is often accompained by restricted cervical range of motion, ipsilateral neck, shoulder, or arm pain of a rather vague non-radicular nature or, occasionally, arm pain of a radicular nature.
* Traction and inflammatory headaches are symptoms of other disorders, ranging from stroke to sinus infection.

many herbal remedies and preventions are available for almost all types of headaches
Magnesium, Vitamin B2, and Coenzyme Q10 are "natural" supplements that have shown some efficacy for migraine prevention.this is just a tip of the ice berge as far as what herbals and other things can do to get rid of or prevent the problem rather then just mask it for a wile.

this is just a base line of information and there is a lot more to it of coerce because
headaches happen for lots of deferent reasons to deferent people.one would have to ask a person a few ???? to understand the person and there exact problum and how to tackle it but almost all of your headache problums can be fixed or prevented rather then masked.
if any one would like any help with some thing like this just send me a pm I would be glad to help.
