I just got home from work and was going to post a "I HATE WORK THREAD" but I guess I’ll just say it here. I hate work(Manuel labor type jobs, anything else I don’t consider work"
I have an office to myself and nobody usually bothers me.
I wonder if they suspect anything though because I'm sure my eyes have been red when I wake up when somebody does come in.
we'd cover for each other in the military if someone needed a nap (or let someone go doze off then fuck with them big time ). that was the nice thing about being a bunch of mechanics, you could go hide down in the belly of the AAV somewhere and doze off while pretending to repair something. did that one day in a bad position. my arm was tingly and numb for 2 hours afterwards, and it was 3 more days before my pinky and ring finger had full feeling back in them.
i had my own "office" for a while as well. every now and then i'd just sit in the back and let my assistant deal with things while i napped. no one could see what i was doing back there, and he didn't care as long as i let him slack off for an equal amount of time.
Compared to the average of 60 hours per week for most Americans...
It's not even that every American person wants six cars and a 54" flat screen HDTV for every room of their house... working 50-60 hours a week is expected for a lot of jobs, both manual labour and otherwise.
