Yes that was me!! I was so happy that I finally made it, I hade to post up and also to show off my wonderful family. Married life is WONDERFUL!!!! August 18th is 2 years for us. Everything is going great. The first year was most certainly the hardest, but now it's smooth sailing. My husband is the most wonderful, supportive man in the world. I am so lucky to have him.

Do you have any children. Is so great. If not, I would wait for awhile, it places a tremendous amount of stress on a marriage for most people and the divorce rate is higher for people with children. In my case, my ex could not stand not getting enough attention.

My aunt who is a stay at home mom offered to be the babysitter, which is great, but I don't know. My question is, when do you know you are ready? If we wait until we are financially stable it will never happen. The attention thing wouldn't affect me at all.

If you are not sure that you're ready, then you're not. I've seen many women go thru deep depressions after having children. They feel very guilty because they think they shouldn't feel that way. It is an awesome responsibility to raise a child and it's not for everyone. You can't take your eye off them for 1 second when they are young, can you imagine that? It changes the relationship between the spouses, no longer are you the sole focus of each other. The child always comes first. It was much more difficult than I had anticipated probably because both of us had to work. I love my child greatly and do not regret having her. but if I had to do it over again, honestly, I wouldn't. I know plenty of married people who are very happy without children.
