I Will Never Use This Hushmail Again!

They are upgrading to version 2.0 bro. It should be alot faster when they're done. Agreed, they could have picked a better time to do it or at least done something to ease the pain of their users during the transition.

How is PGP flexible??
Sender and recipient must use the same cryptosystem (pgp). To put it more simply, no public key cryptosystem can be flexible.
I'm not an advocate of hushmail, mind you. I think Blowfish is a poor choice for an algorithm and it's alltogether too slow.
Rijndael would have been a wiser choice for an algorithm, it being the accepted AES and all.

I finally got into mine... I lost all of my important emails. I am going to see if we can get are saved mail back....

All you guys need to stop whining.
First, Hushmail sucks.
It's platform-dependant.
It's OS-dependant.
Second, in their defense, Hushmail has sent several notices of the pending 2.0 upgrade.
They warned everyone that the size of the mailbox in the free accounts would change (if memory serves me correctly). So, if you had a HUGE amount of mail in a free account, yeah ... you might have lost some, but you were WARNED about this.
Also, they told everyone that during the 2.0 upgrade, their may be a period when your saved mail SEEMED to be gone - but in reality this is just a part of their migration - and the email will show up later.
So, relax, quit whining, and realize that maybe it IS a good idea to read messages sent to you from System Admins when they show up in your inbox.
For you guys that have issues just getting the new version to work at all - check your system. Get the latest updates, run some disk utilities and check the status of the disk and the file structure. Empty ALL caches and temp file on the machine. Doing all of those things will clear up 95% of people's problems.
And please stop whining about this on the board.

I can't fucking well get into my god damn hushmail account and I'm going to cry. I NEED to get in right now at this very moment. This sucks. It keeps telling me when I put in my password and try to "migrate" that either there's an error in upgrading my account or my fucking password is wrong (problem differs for each of my 2 accounts). I'm angry. And I don't know why guys are asking why we're so pissed or dependent on hushmail - if you're important e-mails were lost to you you'd be upset too (BTW this is first time hushmail has given me any trouble and so is that's why I depended on it. Call me a fool if you like but I'm completely boned at the moment.

In reference to the migration thing.....
Try adjusting your screen resolution to greater than 800X600. After doing so I found a continue button at the bottom of my screen and everything worked fine.
Thanks to a heads up by the bros on this board, I was able to save all of my emails by forwarding them to my other hushmail account. When I logged in my browser used the script stored in cache, after forwarding my mail to an alternate account I closed my browser, opened it again and then upgraded upon logging in to my alternate. All of my the mail I sent was there, so now I will just forward them back to my primary account.

They had issued an email before the upgrade stating that as soon as they started it would look like you're missing your old email for a certain amount of time but they said it is still there on the sever and will be transferred back to your account.
Which right now does me no good due to the fact that just like everyone else can't even get past the migration page with out the pc locking up and getting those damn illegal invalid page fault warnings. Hushmail is sucking a big one at the moment.

I will contribute to every "fuck hushmail" thread here. Yes, I received the letter. Yes, I successfully completed the migration process. Now, when I return to access the account, I get what everyone else is "error upgrading the account". I'm sure you all are aware of the important shit I have here and am waiting on even more. FUCK HUSHMAIL.
