During this time of controversy over the Iraq situation...as many of us know, other wars that were not popular were started using some sort of attack on our military or civilian installations... according to our buddies Ridge and Ashcroft, this is the most serious stage of alert we've had... aside from the horror of another actual attack, I will be extremely disturbed if there is one, and then an angry population wanting something to lash out against and a sympathetic UN agrees to the Iraqi invasion...I truly hope this does not happen..but we shall see I guess.

I meant if we are attacked within the next few months here in the US it would likely tip things over to more full support for the war on Iraq... things of a somewhat similiar nature have happened before from our govt. so it concerns me....ie, an attack being allowed to occur to plunge us into the war...
