in memory of brad pitt (may he find perpetual peace in the clouds).

as much as i hate to speak ill of the dead, i thought his acting was rather subpar.

his elocution left something to be desired. also, the dialogue given him was
fairly lame, although i can't blame him for that.

I wonder who'd win if the dude's from Troy fought the dude's from Alexander the Great.

There would probably be a lot of sword fighting.

The movie is alright.

The book (Illiad) is better.

Achilles is one of my role models.

Alexander the Great patterned himself after Achilles I believe.

I know Julius Ceasar patterned himself after Alexander the Great.

and oh.......

Jim Morrison specifically patterned his hairstyle after Alexander the Great.

Yeah that's right. I though I was the only person who knew that! And...Peter the Great modeled himself after Alexander....and Pablo Escobar patterned himself after Patton....food for thought.
Right before the Doors blew up on the Ed Sullivan show Jim went to get his hair done. When the woman asked how he wanted it cut, he showed her a pic of Alexander the Great, whom he greatly admired, and said "Cut like this. I want it to look like a bird's nest..". Then he became a sexual icon.

Dudes who want to conquer read bio and pattern themselve after past great conquerers.

I didn't know that he patterned his look after Alexander the Great before I read his biography. He changed himself, when he was living on top of the building. This is where he came up with his songs. Had a concert in his head. He was fat before, and then at that time, created an sex image and created the music. BTW, the dude who gave him that cut in Venice was killed in the Tate murders.

Morrisons dad was at the time, the youngest admiral in the navy. Very ambiitious. Jim got that ambition from his dad. He wanted to start and lead a revolution. A cultural Alexander the Great, Dionysus. Then some "people" in Miami wanted to throw him in jail to prevent the revolution. So he moved to Paris where his wife inadvertently killed him.

He didn't look too bad in that movie for a guy with 15" arms. Seriously, he should have lifted weights for it also.

Anywho, he is dead? Fuck I have been working too much... BBF is out of the loop.

Think they were smaller? Dude, I am taking into account his hight...tall guys appear the have smaller arms than they actually measure. They look 14" but becuase of his ht I bet there were actaully 15".
