If this goes through. I have to admit that at first, I was as baffled as anyone as to why I was blacked out. I made a thread in jest and I assume that was the reason. The thread was apparently taken seriously. I was not taking a poke at any moderators or administrators because I do not have problem with them. I realize that this place must have order and that although I might not always agree with a moderator or administrator's stance on a particular issue, I do respect and acknowledge the importance of their role here.

Did you ever read A Christmas Carol? The original, I mean. The point of Marley's ghost was that life will go on without you, and it really sucks to waste your opportunity to participate in it.

Turning someone into a ghost is harsh, but if it gets that message across, that's a good thing. It also means that unlike a straight banning, we'd rather go on with you than without you.

I'm man enough to admit I made a mistake. I wouldn't say so if not. I thought it'd would be obvious that it was a joke, but I can see how it could be misconstrued. Thank you for rather having me here than not.
