Yeah get a loan next time for a big purchase why would you buy with a CC? You trying to show off for some bitches or something? haha

they wouldnt give me a loan for a boat...with the way credit avail is now..to get loans for luxuries is non existent....card only 12% so its better then paying 15 or more for a boat loan...

as for the bitches...yes every weekend hundreds of bithces drinking and naked...well worth it

Move near a river.

Seriously, sounds like your credit is alreay fugged ... tell them to come get their car.
lolol

dooooooddd...what kind of car did you get that needed a 10g down payment on top of a 28% interest rate?

mercedes 500 ...i got screwed price wise but car is mint with 30k...worth it..makes my job easier to influence my customers

boat owner = retard

never own the boat, just be friends of boat owners.
yes i have had 2 boats now...i know...but haivng broke friends means no fun unless i buy it,,lol...seriously though not having a boat suxs

You are maxed $20K in debt and you are trying to buy a mercedes?

Bro, your financial choices are super shitty. I don't mean that with malice.

Get rid of the boat, go buy a car you can afford and stay out of debt.

True freedom comes from staying out of debt you can't manage, not maxing your credit to buy toys. They are just things.

Getting screwed in the butthole doesn't feel good, but you did this to yourself amigo.

I have a friend thats 65-70k in the hole. Newer cars, boat, nice house, etc. I tell him he's a retard all the time. Its gonna catch up with him some day, and you can bet when it does as his friend I'll be there to point and laugh at him.

i have the cash to pay the cards off...id rather have a savings of 20k instead of no money only to save a few hundred a month in payments!

well, it obviously has bitten you in the ass. Good luck with it though bro.

I'm not trying to sound like a douche. I'm a pretty frugle spender, aside from my car. But even then, I paid cash for it (100K) and would never put myself in a financial bind for a toy. That is impractical and irresponsible IMO.

Insane. There's no way the $20K in cash is earning as much interest as the $20K in debt is running up.

AKA cheap

Hiya Buddy!

lol, No, not at all.

Cheap and frugle are not the same at all. I'm just not a shop-o-holic and blows money on senseless bullshit. (not talking about you hayez). I don't buy dinky crap that I don't need, which most people do buy senseless garbage all the time. I save my money, have a solid savings account that I continue to build on. I prepare my own meals, which is more healthy and cost effective. I buy nice clothes, but not $200 for a pair of jeans/pants like some. etc etc.

the boat was for pussy on the weekend..got to love the sandbars,.lol..yes irresponsible.....

car i do outside sales so when i am with customers i am always meeting them and taking them to diff locations...so i need a somewhat nice car to do so...my last car was a 328 bmw but interior started getting worn so had to sell it...cannot look poor in front of a client...they dont take you serious if you look like shit..

exactly. If you have the money, pay for it up front. Don't want to drain your bank account? Don't buy a boat.

Paying interest against money you actually have? That is a big no-no. a total bonehead way to think about it, paying more money over a longer period of time vs paying less total money in one sweep. Your basically throwing $$XXX a month into the trash can.

its not gaining any interest...my job is in sales..i only am paid commission..i sometimes go without a paycheck for months at a time...that is the reason i need a decent saving for cushion

There is definitley something to say for having a nice car and being presentable and appear succesful to clients. That is a good point there.

Exactly.

But, still you gotta be smart my brohemoth and stay financially sound even if it means giving up something or waiting longer to but that something you want. Debt is evil IMO.

The only 2 things I can understand going in debt for is a home and a car. If you go into debt for anything besides that, you are asking for trouble somewhere down the road.

Yeah, it's gonna take time for him to repair his credit anyway.

But instead he'll probably just do more damage.

:heart::heart::heart: thanks bro :heart::heart:

Sorry guy, I'm not knocking you or your lifestyle, but damn you're not wise with your money.

Apart from the cash emergency fund, do you have any savings? An IRA or 401K at least?

All this instant gratification is going to catch up with you unless you can reverse the trend.

This has to be a joke..You are a car dealerships wetdream.. they bought the rate for 12% looked at your credit pushed you with a finance company they are in bed with split the difference and are making 8% a piece.. which equates to around $19,000 in interest .. What type of job do you have that you need to fictiously impress people? Why not buy a 06 Taurus with 25k on it for $12,000 to 14,000 until you get your credit clear.. its a nice ride and is a business car.. I dont understand people... you will never get out of debt.. you are trying to impress the women with that car.. sad thing is , when you take them to a nice restaurant cant pay the bill because your car payment is due.. they will laugh at you,, you could always go dutch..lololol

He's young and dumb, you're wasting your breath. Apparently picked up some of these ridiculous habits from his parents so we can't be too hard on him.

He had better keep his parents bankruputcy attorneys name because he will need to call them in about 6 months when the bank repos his jacked up benz////loloolol

:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:you guys are fantastic!!!

Nothing just watching this damn hurricane! It's looking better as of right now!

So what made you decide to get the COTB? I was thinking about it but this board has really been declining in people lately. I know alot of the peeps that I talked to have left and then some banned too so I'm not sure if I'll stick around to do that.

:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:you guys are fantastic!!!

Well, you've given us some good material.

If you're making $70K/year and have low monthly expenses, you have no excuse for not having a good start on a retirement portfolio after three years. Except that you can't resist the bling. A salesman in his 20s doesn't NEED an S-Class to impress clients.

How many times a day do you eat in a sit-down restaurant?
