I want to share my joint supplement experiences with you

I have had a serious injury to my elbow (tore lateral ligament off the humerus and shattered the radial head) for which I have had 2 surgeries in the past 13 months. The first was to put 3 screws in the radial head an a pin to hold the ligament on the humerus. The second was 2 months ago to remove two of the screws, soem bone, and some scar tissue.

Anyways since the secodn surgery I have tried Glucosamine/Chondroitin, Fish Oil Caps, and A 7g packet a gelatin a day.

I have either forgotten to take or taken time off each of these supplements individually, and I find that I only notice a difference in how my elbow feels when I don't take the gelatin. I think the glucosamine and fish oil do very little.

Just thought I'd share. If you're having joint problems, go with the simplest, cheapest supplement out there: pure, unflavored Knox gelatin.

Thanks for the post. Have you heard or used MSM? Heard people using it for joints. But I think the results were not positive using it.

What kind of fish oil? Some old fishermen used to swear by small amounts of shark oil.... but it's all anecdotal.

If you mean it makes you constipated, I have not had that problem at all.

Except now that you mention it, my tp hardly ever has brown on it. So it is making my $h!t more compact. But it's still passing through fine.

Glad it worked for you

BTW, have you tried the good ol' Jell-O (w/o sugar of course)

it tastes a bit better than plain gelatin :)
