Ok guys I know somebody can help me or tell me where to go to get a good start on my diet. See I want to grow up and be really strong and built. I think I've got the gym part handled, what I need help with is my diet. I need help with eating times, what to eat, how many times a day, calorie intake, grams of protien, carbs maybe even formulas if there is any. right now I'm 5'11" 228. If you know where I can get good recipes. I'm about to serious and I need to know these things. Thanks for your help and input.

eat 7-8 meals a day made up of red meat and brown rice and oatmeal, with a potato thrown in here and there. Try for 400g protein a day and 300-350carbs and take creatine

Right now i'm bulking, and loving it. Basically my method goes against lots of these formulas and the like. I just eat till i just can't eat anymore, guaranteed you will gain weight and muscle. Stay away from whey shakes unless you consume them post workout. I think postworkout shake is vital in growth, i consume 50g whey w/ 50g dextrose post workout and then in 1 hour go for a solid meal or if money is not a problem go for another shake, my second shake is usually just 30g whey b/c i can't tolerate that much whey.

I eat as much protein as i possibly can throughout the day, trying to eat every 2-3 hours to maintain anabolism throughout the day. I consume more carbs than protein. What it all comes down to is the amount of calories you're ingesting and if you are consuming enough protein to help build muscle and enough carbs to keep you out of catabolism and prevent protein being used for energy.

Also you will notice w/ time your body responding to changes being made. Some for the better some for the worse, this is when you will need to make your diet modifications. If you're gaining too much fat in the process or gaining too much weight too quickly cut back on some of the carbs or fats. If you're not seeing results as you should (1-2 pounds/week) then increase your carb intake, and good fats like Peanut butter, flax seed oil, and olive oil. I know it's not optimal to do this but I'll resort to eating all kinds of fast foods and desserts to help me put on some weight. Just don't do it too frequently b/c of fat gains. But it is helpful in reaching your calorie requirements sometimes.

Best of luck,
