I Want A Pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just had a scary thought but it has been a year since I have had any pizza!! :bawling: This is a sin in my neck of the woods:11shot: What does every eat for a cheat meal and what do you do to keep yourself from eating it?

Well i try and sub a more healthy alternative for whatever im craving.

Example, if your craving sweets- Mix up your fav. sugar free pudding w/ fruit or natty peanut butter.

If your craving a pizza, try and make your own either from whole wheat tortilla or just get a pizza shell from the grocery store and use fat free cheese and sliced chicken, turkey or lean to get in some more protein.


This doesnt always work but i found just choosing more healthful treats kills the craving and isnt all that bad for your body.

But damn, Krispy Kreme donuts are still a weakness of mine.
 
So buy a pizza, just don't go crazy with toppings, and don't get extra cheese. One meal won't kill you, just bust your butt a bit more in the gym the next day.
 
I eat healthy choice pizza all the time. They have 20 grams of protien and 50 carbs. They also have very low fat and are inexpensive

This is an example of the mentality that won't get you where you want to be.

If you have a SPECIFIC goal in mind, you DON'T FUCKING CHEAT, no matter what. You feel the pain, suffer and say "oh well, no pizza for my ass".

Eat 3 grilled chicken breasts and shut the fuck up. That's what you do. Deal with it.
 
Nothing wrong with pizza now and then when you are bulking. Might want to reconsider if you are cutting though.
 
I commend you for your outstanding will power. I don't think I could go for a full year without pizza.

I've been eating bread and chocolate the last 3 weeks. If I start dieting again, I will probably do carb-ups every 3 days because it is really hard to go without some type of processed food.

Eating a slice isn't the problem, I don't think. It's when you start scarfing down butt loads of it and often when it becomes a problem. My sick @ss has even topped my pizza with tuna to get that extra protein in there.

Eat up, just don't go overboard.
 
Pizza, OMG that sounds great, I want one now too. I'm in Brooklyn also, we have the best pizza in the world, but I dont like L & B there is no cheese on it...

Get f*ckin creative!

Be creative in the kitchen! Diet food can get boring faster than my girlfriend can rack up the credit card. Want pizza? A Bobeli thin crust, fresh crushed tomatoes, Italian herbs and non-fat mozzarella makes a great pizza without departing at all from your diet guide lines.

my thought exactly, it doesnt tast as good as a greasy ass slice from papa johns but it is a nice alternative to chicken and tuna.
 
Pizza and chips are my weakness. I went without pizza for 3 months straight. Man was that hard. Now, i have a pizza maybe once a month. Used to be every Friday. What a change now for me. Still working on the chips . Nowadays, its steak, tuna, chicken, which gets old really fast. But i have a gf that loves to cook.
 
dominos cheesy bread is my achilles heel =/

i'm thinking a breadstick with some low/non fat parmesean, a spray of pam, some fat free cheese, lots of italian herbs, and some garlic powder would do the trick though.

of course, i don't really go over 40g/day of carbs... so it's going to be tough, seeing as a bunch of food has those 2-4g of carbs which adds up quick in a day =/

WHY CANT THEY INVENT CARB FREE BREAD??? -_-

Im on a see foord diet

:p When i go on my bulking up i go on a see food diet when i see food i eat food no matter what i sit down a stuff my self. then the next day i hit the gym and do more than i did the next day because you have more in your body each day to do more reps or weight! if you are cutting down heres a great way to make a pizza! Get somw wheat flour add some water and a little bit of crisco and bake it then put you on some tomato sauce with some pizza sauce erbs top with chicken or turkey! and judt eat up!!

Make your own pizza..

Make your own wheat bread.. mold it in to a pizza crust, sprinkle a little bit of low fat cheese (if any), healthy toppings... and you'll be allright.. might be high in carbs though, but still a lot healthier then the store bought ones
 
Forget pizza. My cheat day is limited to a cheating dinner. I eat perfect all day, but when dinner comes around, I eat about 5 peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches.
 
Go ahead and just order a pizza for christ's sake!

I order a pizza about every two weeks. I usually eat at least half of the large pizza in one meal. I'm still losing weight.

If you torture yourself like this you are gonna be in for a very unpleasant dieting experience.
 
hey im allergic to milk and if i eat pizza i go to eagles pizza its owned by a family i know! so i go in and order a small pizza with no cheese or peperonies. I sub the peperonies with either chicken,tuna,or shrimp id this ok? i know its alot better than a regular slice of pizza!

healthy choice makes some good frenchbread pizza...about 360 cals, made with low fat cheese and stuff. they're very good too.:)
 
I believe there must be one cheat day a week. of course cheat day doesn't mean you can devour everything you see. It means you can indulge in one or two things you don't eat the rest of the week. When I have pizza I like it marinara style, that is thin crust, tomato sauce, oregan and no cheese. remember it's the high fat and sodium mozzarella (or better fake mozzarella because it tastes like crap) that makes you fat, not the pizza itself
 
Having grown up on authentic NY pizza, I can't eat the frozen stuff they tote as pizza...but on cheat day, about 50% of the time, I have pizza from my favorite Italian resteraunt. I have ONE slice with a nice salad. If you feel like you've gotta have that something you crave, just have it on your cheat day and don't eat a ton of it...just enough to satisfy the desire and fuel your body.
 
Everyone should not be so anal when it comes to a cheat meal.
iF you are eating clean that cheat meal will do you more good than harm.
When ever i eat a cheat meal i am stronger and fuller for a couple of days.
If you knew what a lot of the pro's ate off season you would be suprised.

I don't like feeling full. It actually hurts! Besides, I'm talking about a real pizza...large slices, not those little wimpy fake pizza's. Nice thin crust, lotsa sauce, a nice cold draft beer to wash it down...mmmmmmmmm! A few good burps after the meal and I'm sitting comfy. ;)

I agree. If you have a goal to reach then you do not cheat! You figure out what you macro requirements for each day are....then figure what foods and how much of each you need to eat each day and do not eat anything other than that food!! Once you reach your goal....reward yourself with a few bong hits and a pizza :fro:

eat a couple bars of that chocolate ex lax about an hour before you eat the pizza. does it work?... youll see little pepperonis in the toilet, maybe not, but something will definatly go right through you.
 
hey guys!
i'm on atkins and had a craving for pizza too
and i had one......NO CRUST!
on a piece of non stick baking paper i laid out the salami, kalamatas, roasted peppers, portabellos, and mozzarella
baked 5-7 minutes
then waited a few ticks so it set and eat it with a knife and fork
did wonders for my morale
going carb-less sucks but i am making it fun
:)

p.s. i am a chef so i think weird thoughts like this

Yep, like having pizza one time will turn all your muscle into fat. One time I had a cherry coke big gulp at my gym, and one of the trainers, told me "you know better than that" I'm at 9% bodyfat, and the soda didn't change a damn thing, I felt bloated for a day, had to pee like every ten minutes, but I set a new PR that day, probably all the caffeine and sugar. Now if I had cherry coke all the time, or this guy ate pizza everyday like Artie Lange, that we could turn into fat asses, but cheating once in awhile won't kill you, as long as you eat clean most of the time, and bust your ass in the gym.
 
Problem with cheats is that once you do it a first time, it makes doing it the second and then the third time even easier.

Just think of George Washington and his men crossing the Deleware to ambush the British on Christmas. Or Daniel Boon at the Alamo with just a few people fighting the entire Mexican army.

If they can do that, you can do without a #$%^@## pizza.

amen dude. go forever without even having a slice of pizza? that makes absolutely no sense, especially if you aren't a pro or hardcore competitor (but it doesn't even make sense for that either..). whatever floats yer boat i guess. if you guys want to eat canned tuna and grilled chicken breasts for the rest of your lives i'm not gonna stop you...
