Would it be wrong to save a dog or some other animal first from a burning house rather than another human? Seriously, you like dogs but you don't know the Jack or Jill who's also inside the burning house. Who's to really say you a made a wrong pick if you save the dog first, and then the human would die before you could go and save him/her too.

I like dogs better than I like most people, so I'd go for the dog. Unless there are little kids to be saved. Then I'll grab one of those.

Throw the person out of the window then carry the dog. Most animals have six sense though so I dont think you need to be worrying about saving them. If I am in the situation though I would carry the animal and drag the person out.lol
