Get this stuff. Its expensive but it works far better than even the best prescription cream. I did the clorox thing and it works pretty good but takes a long time to heal up. I'm not vulnerable to poison Ivy but I'm highly allergic to something called thunderwood which is related to poison ivy and nearly causes me to go into friggin shock. no shit. This stuff knocks it out at any stage. Same for poison ivy. My girl got poison all over last month and she rubbed this stuff on and the itch was gone in about an hour. If you have it on your sack it will drive you crazy. This stuff is worth its weight in gold.

at first it sounds funny but you have my sympathies. I can't know exactly what that is like for obvious reasons, I'm just glad we don't have poison ivy over here in Europe....
