I suggest not heating your tren

since we have a flood of tren makers these days...I really think the heating stage included in some kits is not needed and in fact can hinder the effectiveness of the final brew.

I useing a kit like Mr. Ts you will have no problems with infections, I shot in tons of spot injection places and never gets lumps or pain.

Keep in mind the optimal way to prevent infection is keeping everything clean and sterile. Alcohol wips are so important...I wipe the skin, the top of the bottle, and the needle before shooting.

Anyway heat if you want remember 160 degrees it the most heat you should use in water (never bake) and swirl...but this step in not needed.

HI...you shouldn't wipe the needle with anything before shooting.....

Nope, don't wipe it with anything. The pin is sterile already, don't risk making it not sterile by touching it with anything.

Unless you are reusing your needles I wouldn't wipe them with anything. If they are brand new then they are totally sterile already.

Re: reusing needles..

First I will admit that I do reuse needles. Save a buck where you can I guess. Any how my suggestion is this if your going to reuse. First and foremost do not save a 23g or 25g that you have used to puncture the rubber seal on your gear bottle. This dulls them very quickly and will cause you discomfort when used for injections. I use an 18g to draw up my gear and then swap pins with whatever size I need at that time. Second and more improtant get yourself 2 solid plastic containers and some 90% isoproply alcohol. Fill one container about half way with the alcohol, this will be for storage. In the other fill about 1/4 way with alcohol, this will need to be changed as needed and used to rinse out your pins and syringe. After injecting draw up and dispell 2-3 syringes of alcohol; using the cap removed from your pin replace it over the shaft and screw off and place in container #1 for storage. When reusing shake out the alcohol from the pin and place on the syringe. Purge 2-3 times with air, or until you don't see a spray any longer. Now remove and use your 18 to draw up your gear and cont. as before. I have done this several times and never had a problem.

My 0.02 if your gonna reuse..

My .02, you are crazy to reuse needles. They are so inexpensive and no amount of money is worth risking an infection.

I don't heat for sterility, I heat because that's how I make mine. Crushed up pellets in oil heated at 160 degrees F. for like 30 to 40 minutes. (25mg/cc) What I want to know is what is the diference between heating your tren in water at 160 degrees F. and heating it in an oven at 160 degrees F. I'm not saying it's the same it just seems that it wouldn't make a diference.

Although I do agree that, when proper care is taken with quality kits, infections are very rare. However, running a lower temp pasteurization process (hot water bath, around 160) wouldn't be a terrible idea. I've gone the bake @ 250'F route before, and to be honest, it didn't yield as much gain as the unbaked bottle... maybe all in my head, but it's what I experienced.

And please, just don't reuse pins. A pin should only penetrate a surface once, whether it be a stopper or your skin. After that, you are only dulling it and increasing scar tissue. A syringe should only be filled and expelled once, otherwise you run into sterility issues... I don't care how sterile you think you've gotten it, they come packaged sterile for single use.

Hey, let's put it this way.

If you can afford to buy the gear you're on, then you CAN afford pins. PERIOD

But, to each his own... I will never go cheap on my body. It's the only one I'll get, I just have to mold it the way I want :)

I was always under the impression that the filters only purpose was to filter out particular matter. I do not see how it can have any effect on sterilization.

The oil can be squeezed out of a filter couldn't bacteria also be squeezed with it? Basically implying that for insurance you should pastuerize it 160 degree water.

Well, just to be safe you should pasturize. I once had a dirty bottle of Mex. vet gear (haven't we all) I had gotten two site injection infections from it so I bought some syringe filters and filtered it just once. Never had another infection from it since. I know viruses are smaller than bacteria but I don't know how small most are. Maybe pasturizing helps kill viruses or just kills more bacteria. But I am sure that removing small matter so it's not injected is important.

re: re-using needles

If you have ever re-used a needle like I have once or twice (say because I have run out and it was a sunday and I couldn't get a replacement) then you will know that needles on their second use hurt more than when they are fresh.

Maybe I am just a wimp, but sterility issues aside - old needles = OUCH!
