I shaved my head

I left about 3/8 of an inch, next time I'll go shorter and then maybe shave it all the way with a razor. I like it. Besides, if it's good enough for Bigdawg, then I say it must be good enough for me.

My BIL finally shaved his head for Mother's Day. My sister has been harrassing him for YEARS!! (Me too, LOL) He had my 12 y/o do it for him because he wanted it to be a surprize! We were both shocked. You LET a 12 year old child come near your head with a razor?!?!?!

He looks 10 years younger easily! I told my sister that now she will have to be "giving it up more freely" heheheheheeee

I've always felt funny about that... have never even rubbed my own BIL's head.

I dunno why. I mean, I have always found it appealing, says to me that a guys has character and doesn't care what other people think. But I just felt like it was too intimate a thing to do.

Call me crazy...

Well, I shaved it down to just stubble after I worked out today. I doubt anyone of the guys in my office would take a pic of me without my shirt though. I'd feel strange asking, too. I'm sure that if Frothing Zagnut was here, he'd volunteer.

Yeah bro,...I have gone and buzzed it all off a few time. Feels great in the summer. I usually just keep it short for now though. I may shave it again soon though when the weather gets hot. yeh, know where you are coming from.....i was concerned aboput the reaction i would get from peeps also....have been getting 99% positive comments for 5 years now being smooth.

keep some sunscreen hand, bro....a freshly shaven scalp burns in a nano-second.

i'm hate to admit this, but you look better shaven than even i do!!!

Yea its a shock at first, I went from long hair and pony tail to nothing overnight over 12 years ago.

It suits ya and I bet you will love it and the attention it gets ya lol.

P.S. wear a bandana under your helmet if you have to wear one there as you will sweat like a sons a bitch if not LOL.

true dat.....i have to occassionally wear a hard hat at work, the few times i venture out of the lab....a bandana or a baseball hat makes a BIG difference. ;)

once a day during the week, but on weekends and when I go out I shave it twice as I like my smooth as a babies arse.

WOW, how often do you use the same razor before you change it? This could get expensive!
 
i also perfer the smooth,shaved to the bone, rub my head look, so i shave my head the same time i do my cheeks and neck, usually every morning (or afternoon or whevever the hell i fall outta bed).

a norelco advantage electric razor gives me 99% as close as a mach 1 does, and a lot cheaper and less messy!

I use Mach III for my melon and Sensor excel for face. I change MACH III once a week and sensor excel twice a week.

I'm gonna have to check into that. I used to use an electric on my face, but it irritated a little bit.
 
Nah, the Mach III does the best work.

I shave my head almost every day of the week (except for Saturdays, I get lazy). I do run through the blades though, as my hair is kinda thick, but its well worth it.
 
the norelco advantage model has a built in skin conditioner dispenser that cuts way down on the irritation problem.

a mach 1 makes the back of my head break out with those damned red skin irritation bumps, the norelco does not.

I also use a good moisturizer on my melon and never anything with alcohol in it. Gives me melon a nice, just got waxed and buffed sheen ;)

Not just yet. Look for Jack Blacks Beard Lube. That shit works on your dome as well as your face. Smoooooooov. Then use the cooling jel to fend of razor burn. Some good shit mang.

i used a skin bronzer to blend in the newly shaved area......i went topless in september of '99, had a dark tan from that summer. royal compenhagen skin bronzer had been given to me in a christmas gift pack; it worked well for this.
