I saw Schindler's List...

for the first time a few days ago. Probably the best movie to be made in the last 25 years. Damn good movie. Though it is graphic, it has to be to convey how brutal the Holocaust was. At the same time, there is light at the end of the tunnel for some of the victims. For a movie to show how brutal the Holocaust was, and at the same time show that a select few have a chance to make it is amazing. I won't say anymore because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it!

Was the movie in Black and White?!!! I saw it so long ago, and I think I watched the whole thing without even noticing, it captured my attention that much.

I'm pretty sure if it was shown in color it would have been rated NC-17. There are some really fucked up things in that movie. Like where Amon Goeth snipes people from his balcony. Or where the kids hide in the outhouses in shit up to their necks to not be discovered. They also had a scene where the Germans took down Jewish gravestones and made roads out of them at the concentration camps... It snowed ashes from the Jews being incinerated. Gas chambers. Doesn't get much more realistic than that.
