i need some warm up advice please!!!

So before i start lifting weight i know i should do some warm up like a few minutes,can you tell me what exercises should i do for a warm up? and i heard stretching is bad before lifting, thing is i dont really know how to diferentiate warm up exercises from stretching exercises :(.
Please help me with an advice,thx in advance.:D
 
I hardly warm up myself, but 5-10 mins on an eliptical or bike should get some blood pumping, and starting your first few movements with light weights and high reps before your working sets will also increase bloodflow and improve synovial fluid distribution in your joints. Just dont't go overboard if your goals are for strength, as you'll need lots of energy for your working sets.
