Well I was trying to clear resources for my soundblaster, but my error, I took resources from my ATI video card...

To make a long story short, I can't run windows in normal mode, because the monitor well go off. I can get into safe mode, but I can not restore resources back to the ati.

help please!!!

It's not a matter of having enough resources, it's a matter of not have the option to switch back in safe mode.

However, there is an option to do so manually, but i don't know what to do.

boot up in safe mode, go into the control panel, then to display, then settings, and click on 'advanced', then go to the monitor tab, and change the refreash rate to either 'use adapter default' if its there, or change it to about 65 - 75 Hz, then restart.

That is usually the cause of the problem you are describing...let me know if it works or if you need any more help.

Remove the video card from device manager, then allow the OS to redetect it, presuming you have the driver CD.

May need to remove the sound card as well.
