I need opinions...tendonitis and DECA

Here is the background:
I have bad tendonitis in both elbows and I either lift or play softball everyday of the week. I have sleeves for my elbows that help when lifting but nothing has worked during softball.

My question:
My next cycle is going to be anadrol, deca and test LE (200mg cyp and 200mg enthate). I was going to wait to start until after softball (end of August) to give my elbows sometime to get better. Now one of my boys started this same cycle and the Deca has made his knees and ankles feel better. I know Deca is good for the joints but i wasn't sure if it would help tendonitis.

Throw in some MSM, Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate along with the Deca. You can get a combination of all three of these supplements in one pill at any local drugstore or grocery store. Make sure to use it consistently. The combination helps a lot.

I dont think any AAS would be good for tendonitis due to the muscles getting stronger and exerting more force on the tendons. In fact, AAS use will probably aggravate the situation.

Listening in. I've got pretty hardcore patella tendonitis in both knees and the heat/ice/ultrasounds just aren't getting rid of it. :\

I would have thought that this would be well documented but internet searching does crap because this type of stuff is really only discussed on the boards. Hopefully someone will chime in who have the science behind them.

get some DMSO instead, it's a killer when it comes to tendonitis

but do NOT use deca for "healing" purpose, it acts in a way that it shuts down the cellular immunity in some places (one of the 2 "arms" of the body's immune system)

When they body doesn't heal the wound, it doesn't hurt. So in the long term, deca will take your problems up to a new level bro. Get some DMSO if the inflammations suck too hard

if you would like to read a little more about it heres a link written by the steroid guru Karl Hoffman:

Ok, seems there is some misconception on this, because I was under the impression that Deca was good for strengthening the tendons, joints, etc.
Keep this thread going so we can get the truth.

I hope Radar or X or someone of that caliber will chime in becuase I think this is a good question. I have not used Deca but constantly deal with tendonitis. I did look into deca for this very reason and what I read and was told is that it helps with the lubrication of joints and the cartalidge but does NOT heal or repair inflammed tendons and/or ligaments. It sounds like in this case you need to lay off the softball and REST. The twisting motion of throwing a ball is one of the most painful things to do when mine is flared up.

Look up a post by Radar entitled "for the older bro's". It tells of having 1-2 servings of jello a day, and it helps the joints.

I've got tendonitis in one of my elbows and can be a little painful from time to time. Since I've started test/deca cycle the pain is nearly all gone. I know the problem is partly being masked but I'm enjoying not having any pain there. So anyway there's my 2 cents..............

My experience would also be anecdotal andnot medical..But I have the same problem, and when on Deca it definitely gets better. I have found after a cycle it continues to be better for some time. The soreness does not come back until I start lifting heavy again. I too have had great results w/ DMSO and the OTC supplement Glucosamine. So there's my input. Peace

That is what I am hearing the most from other people that it helped them with their joints but no one used it with tendonitis yet that I know of so that is why I was looking for the science behind it.

They will not help the tendonitis, Sorry. I took deca after rotator cuff surgery and it did wonders to help me recover and relief the pain of heavier weights. I had tennis elbow at the time and it was severe. It did not help I eventually had surgery. I am healed now. Deca will help lube the joints tendonits is inflamation of the tendon and it could help but you would most likely have to rest it in combination with AS, but we know that is not an option.
