I need help on my diet...

Hello, I am new to this board. I just had a few questions:

-Is there a book/meal planner I could buy?

-I get really bored with the same food, day after day after day... You basically get the point.

Any input on a specific diet would be appreciated. Thank you very much!

Try SUPERCUT, NUTRITION FOR THE ULTIMATE PHYSIQUE
By Joyce L Vedral and Bill Reynolds. Lots of different recipes for whatever your goals are, fat loss, muscle gains, and cycle training. One of the best books I've found.

Personally I think if u hang out here for a while and use the search key u should learn a good deal...instead of wasting your money on some book

my advice

My advice is to basically, get used to eating the same foods day in and day out... Your body will adjust accordingly to the changes, and then you will soon be able to understand how different foods do react with your body... So even though it might suck for awhile.. You will know and understand so much better how your body works... No book can tell you how certain foods will react with 'your' chemistry.... just the same as there is no "perfect diet" for everyone... You must play the hit or miss game until you know your body well enough to be creative with your foods to get optimal results...

dieslgrl is right. You just have to kinda suck it up and eat the food. I was SOOOO sick of eating nothing but chicken and tuna, but after awhile you get used to it. Just keep up the hard work, and keep coming back here for great advice...you will do fine.

eat chicken/tuna/turkey/other low fat fish/low fat meat/potatoes/rice/pasta/alot of veggies/fruit

a mix of these will give you everything you need protein carbs, complex carbs, low fat

and always drink water with your meals..........

:)

I agree with Dieslgrl...

Pay attention to what your eating now...measure their beneficial values of carbs and protein and fat (good fat) then match them up with similiar valued foods and WALLAH!! You have different foods, with the same nutritional value your trying to keep. Get soem food charts as well (easy downloads searches).

Thank you for the replies on my thread

I am considering all of the ideas that were brought to my attention.

Bump to dieslgrl and dragon. Part of the price you pay for living healthy and looking good is a pretty bland diet overall. You could get a book or check the web, but any credible source will simply give you variations on how to prepare the standards; chicken, tuna, etc..

Many people, like myself, have cheat days; days or meals where they eat whatever they want. And let me tell you, if you like pizza or any other "off-limits" food, try eating it after two weeks of chicken, fish, vegs, and whey protein. It tastes like pure flippin' heaven.
