I need to know the moisture content of an orange. I am doing a lab for a food engineering class and I need to know (from the ASHRAE Fundamentals Handbook) the moisture content of an orange. I'm trying to find the k value. k=0.148 + 0.493X(w) where X(w) is the water content expressed as a fraction. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.
