I'm not far from busting out of the arms on this dress shirt. I think it's 17/33. I just bought this mother f*cker a few months ago too. I have at least 5-6 of this size. I need a sugar momma.

i'm starting to feel the same way with a lot of t-shirts i have. but at the same time, i kinda like it. shirts that used to go almost to my elbows are now halfway up my arms. makes my tattoos visable at all times :D

I'm glad I don't have job that I'm required to wear dress shirts anymore. Wasted alot of money on shirts in the past.

I understand the pain, but have difficulty sympathising with you too much. I now have over 5K worth of fine wool suits and two tuxes that no longer fit! Anyone wear a 48R? I think I may have torn part of a lining in one when I just HAD to wear a jacket one day.

This is the first job I've had in 5 years that I couldn't wear jeans & polo shirts

I'm the opposite. First job where I can. It's great!

ebay my friend... not just saying that because i have stuff up for sale either. Try wearing a 52 jacket and a shirt size of 19 33/34 :(

I can fit into the 52 jacket just fine, but I'd need a 17 33/34 shirt.

I want to get down to 205-215 so I can buy suits off the rack.

I weigh in at 210, and I can't buy suits off the rack. When you get a 50/52 R suit, they have to completely recut the pants for a 33" waist. By the time they're done I could have bought a custom made suit for almost the same cost.

SSS, i wear a 48r. What ya have in mind? As far as shirts go, my chest and back area are tight but arms are loose. I wish I had an arm problem, they are a stale 17" pumped and flexed

Most of my shirts are still somewhat ok. They're starting to fit a bit snug in the shoulders though. I'm not sure what I can do about that. I LOVE silk shirts.

Email me and we can discuss the suits. I think the tuxes are a loss though. I hadn't worn them in a couple of years, and I believe they're 46R. I can't get my arm into the jacket let alone put it on.

Here's what I'm wondering..........

How could anyone wear a 52 jacket, and only be a 17 in a shirt????

Unless you are a fat mofo......there is no way a 52" chest would fit in a 17 shirt.......

I wear a 54-56 in jackets......and a 19 1/2 in shirts.....and the shirts are still tight in the arms.....and chest...

Try Mark Shale for designer bigger clothes.....

You can't find Couture lines.....but you can still find high fashion stuff...(Mani and others) in 52 and up.....best bet is custom made suits......with the tailoring involved in off the rack stuff.......it's usually cheaper.....shirts as well........ :)

short guys have it the worst. The biggest suit I can get off the rack is a 46-short. I outgrew that at 205 lbs and I'm 249 now. I can wear a 17/33 shirt because I don't wear ties so it doesn't matter if the top button closes. The odd thing is my arms have grown an inch over the past year despite doing zero arm training until 2 months ago. Matter of fact I didn't lift an ounce the last 4 months of 2003. I guess after all that time without any direct stimulation they were ready for some work.

Well, if you only have a 17" neck getting a 19" necked shirt isn't going to do you much good. The neck size has nothing to do with Chest size. My shirts are 17" neck and the only issue I have with them is that they are built straight down, which does nothing to highlight the V taper. I have a 33" waist, which basically makes that shirt look baggy on me from the mid-rib down.

Unfortunately for me, my arms lag, so while the shoulders and chest is snug, my arms aren't an issue at the moment.

Not true......a 19 is bigger in the shoulders and chest than a 17. :)

A lot bigger actually.

You can have shirts custom made to taper down the sides......I have mine made at Mi Italia (In SoBe, Washington Ave.) A standard business button down with flared collar, and French Cuffs will run around $165.00 which is cheap for custom tailoring. ( you'll pay a premium for silk) They do suits as well, depending in the material you're looking at $1200.00-5000.00........but man do they fit well.

I think you missed my point. If you have a 17" neck and a 50" chest, getting a shirt with a 19" neck will make it hella difficult to put on a tie.

My wife isn't too keen on me buying more suits until I've finished my first year's worth of "vitamins". Once I've gone through that and have settled in size, I'll go buy more. Rack suits don't do me any good, so it's going to have to be custom. I think I see a trip to Taiwan in my future for business.

Exactly. It's the neck that determines the size of the shirt, since a guy with a guy with a bigger neck is assumed to have a bigger chest. I haven't had custom shirts made in 10 years but that was money well spent. The problem is you have to be at a stable bodyweight to justify it, otherwise you may outgrow the shirts too soon.

My oh my, you people are fk'n big: I'd look like a 'white crow' or a Somali refugee among you :o

That's my wife's point. Why spend more money only to have suits and shirts that don't fit again.

Start injecting those "vitamins" directly into your traps......

Problem solved. :)
