I need a storage site for my mpegs...

I take mpegs of my training and have been saving them on my yahoo site...but when I send the links out...they are only good for an hour or two. The links are constantly changing.

Are there any other sites, free, that I can store mpegs where this would not be a problem? Most of them are 500kb or less. Most are under 200kb.

Thanks

Liquid2k does not allow mpegs. To upload there you would have to convert it to an AVI. I upload mpeg to angelfire. But when you use angelfire you can't hotkink. YOu have to put the link on a page at angelfire.

I just want to upload my files to a site so that they can be stored there. I want to be able to give the link to that file to someone (want to post them on elite) so that they can download the mpeg if they want.

Any ideas?

Yahoo Briefcases. Goto yahoo and store them in a briefcase the link is on yahoo.com and click on "briefcase." The max file that you can upload is 5MB.

I have a yahoo briefcase that I upload mpegs to...then I copy the shortcut of those mpegs and past them on here...and they are changed in about an hour or so. They only last for a very short time...

Am I doing this wrong?

ISPs typically give their users a few megabytes of storage space on their (ISP) systems. These are often used for Web pages but you can put any type of file there. That is what I would use for hosting content like your videos. I am unfamiliar with the file hosting services of Yahoo.

Copy and paste...see if it works.

Still gotta find out if I can post my mpegs on my isp server....

Thanks

That video came through fine.
Some ISPs (mine, at least) offer a Web-based interface for putting content on their servers, but I found the interface cumbersome. The most economical way to get your stuff up would be to upload it to the server via FTP, just like in the "old days."

I'll check that out. Don't know much about ftp servers...will have to lern.

With angelfire it says something like I can only transfer 1G of info per month or something. Does that mean that it can be downloaded only so many times in a month?

Thanks
