I met bigmann245 last night

MattTheSkywalker

Elite Mentor
Platinum
I had a few beers with the guy.

He's a nice guy. And he's big. So I guess the name fits.

Looking forward to meeting the fellow NYer in Atlanta. I'm sure despite being from Long Island, he's probably cool.

What's the 245 stand for then.

the 245 stands for my age at the time i picked the name. i just wanted bigman but it was taken, so i tried bigmann, it also was taken, then i tried bigmann24 because i was 24 at the time. nope taken as well. so i figure i was 24 going on 25 so i picked bigmann245. i wanted to change it to just bigman or bigmann but people told me that the 245 stuck so i guess ill just keep it.

the only thing i picture is them growing up in a field and then they act all tough as if they lived in the hood. brentwood long island is the hood of long island. i had very tough times growing up there. fights all the time, bad influences, etc. thats why i joined the navy to get out. but the upstate guys that try to act all hood like and then i ask what type of area they grew up in they tell me it was a lot of farms and such. yea real tough. try graduating with 800 plus kids and that was just the graduating ones. a lot were left behind. we had 2 high schools in the same parking lot. so not only did we have to fight other school kids we fought between our own 2 schools. it was stupid as hell but going to school was hit and miss that you were going to get into a fight.

Brooklyn Heights baby, all the way!

so hows maryland treating you???? i hated it bigtime. i was stationed in patuxient river maryland with the smibs (southern maryland inbreads) and it sucked. there was nothing to do at all. the closest mall was an hour away but they did have a walmart....

I always thought Hempstead was the hood of L.I. (I'm from Rockaway, so I'm not getting on a pedastal, trust me.)

ah, so he's not an alter, damn

yeah, he's real.

I completely forgot he was from Long Island though - and yes, ATL is going to be big fun.
