I love my daughter so much and I worry about her all the time.

How old? I have a 13yr old and 4yr old daughter. The 13 yr old is how shall we say.....a lil difficult right now. The 4yr old the love of my life..........I here you tho. I just want the 13yr old to be a good person and make the right decisions and its hard right now to see the way she is going.

BTW we almost went with Hope for a middle name but went wtih Faith instead.

I think it's a sign of the times. Mine is 14 and she is very difficult sometimes, but she's getting better. I know she loves me and that I mean everything to her.

I think youll be ok. Its the girls that are trouble. Boys are too busy discovering there penis to cause problems.

I think when my son turns about 12/13, I'll send him away and tell him to come back when he's about 23.

boys are easier. not by much, but still.
he won't be rude and moody- you'll just have to worry about him cracking his head open doing something stupid. girls - you just have to worry about them getting preggers and turning into a little vixen. oh, plus being rude and having no concept of money.

plus, sobbing uncontrollably if you look at them funny. :worried:

I;m hoping our son is working out the stupidity and contraty behavior now and by teen years he'll be too busy kicking as in athletics, studying, and being the school's biggest playa to be a dick to us like he is now.

Also he'll start to realize what side his bread is buttered on so he won't fuck with us.

then you can worry that he'll come to you and say "um... my girlfriend is pregnant and her parents want her to have it. They say i have to support it. what should I do?"

and you'll say "wtf? we talked to you about condoms! what happened???" and he'll shrug and say "i dunno."

:(

That's his pat answer for every inquiry right now already!

it gets worse.
I have 4 teenage boys living in my house at the moment.
shrugs and "i don't know" are really common I've noticed. as well as mumbling, laughing for no reason (I suspect they are laughing at me but they deny it), and a LOT of bodyspray.

lol @ the bodyspray - they probably need it being teenage boys

I would say from age 14-22 I communicated with my parents solely with the shoulder shrug. If I could get away with that now, as an adult, I surely would do it.

there's also a lot of eye rolling, smirks, shuffling, sideways glancing, and eating/burping.
