I Love Snow

It's snowing today! I love snow... It is so pretty right now. I can look out my window and see Christmas lights and a tree. I don't have to drive to work or I'd probably be annoyed, because it's not enough to close work.

Traffic wasn't bad this morning, but I am leaving early to avoid the Friday night traffic on I66. Something tells me I should have worked from home today.

yah it snowed overnight here too. just got done scraping off my truck. thats the only thing i hate about the snow.

I have an older Big Bear and still have a big red (3 wheeler) that runs like a top...the three wheeler is much more fun to ride in the snow.....And plenty of mountains to four wheel and ride off road on the smaller versions of fun and excitement....

I miss the snow a little, but it doesn't take a very long visit back home for me to get over my nostalgia. It's gonna be culture shock when I move back to Chi-town.

Yeah, 4 wheeling through a forest wouldn't work in my truck.

I would need wide open ranges in order to throw it into some good mud patches.

I am not a big fan of dents caused by tree trunks and low hanging branches.

We have a great place here my man...The Chalk Mines...Alot of fun in the summer there...ride and swim...bring you own tunes and refreshments and you have a party in the making my man

I bought a huge snow blower last year to tackle the white stuff. It`s all ready paid off. We had a lot of snow last year in the Northeast.

I`m not crazy about snow, It`s OK. As I get older It starts getting more of a pain. I DO like the way it looks though,Seems to quiet everything with it`s "blanket" of white.

Thank God for BIG 4 wheel drive tractor's, with cab and front end loader....heh heh heh....I never get cold pushing snow that way....Of course my driveway is about a 1/2 mile long....heh heh heh

Y, my mother lives in Naples and everytime she calls me, she asks how the weather is up here. I tell her, "It's FREEZING!!"

Her reply is, "Well, it's cold down here too honey, about 75 degrees".

Walking up 16th Street was a bitch. Those giant mutant ass snowflakes were coming at me at high winds from every angle. Now my legs are all damp.

We use to pull homemade sleds behind our three wheelers when we were kids. As fast as we use to get those things going, it's a miracle nobody ever got killed. Plus down here we would get snow but then a layer of ice on top of it and you could slide forever.

Haha. It was like getting hit with paintballs of snow walking down 16th street today. It was great... except one went in my eye.
