It's, like, the best part of my morning. Thank you, EF, for guiding me towards the wonder that is old fashioned rolled oats just over a year ago.

That is all.

i'm so sick of eating it...

freakin oatmeal. 3 times a day. lactaid + 1 cup of oatmeal + 1 scoop of protein.

gag.....substitutes my protein shakes

If I ate it three times a day I might get sick of it, too. It's only on my radar in the morning, though, and it makes me happy......in the pants.

oatmeal is good.

I eat either scrambled eggs with a slice of cheese on top in the morning or low fat cottage cheese with strawberries or blueberries.

What is the lactaid for?

I eat oatmeal 4 or 5 times everyday.

I just started eating it again this morning, w/ raspberries and blueberries

Then I ruined it by eating pizza rolls

I eat it raw all day.

My friend and some girls he knows came over after we went out. They had pizza. I busted my mug of raw oats and some chicken.

Those girls give me shit everytime I see them for eating raw oatmeal out of a mug.

Lactaid is taken with dairy products to prevent lactose intolerance, in those with that issue.

I eat oatmeal 4 to 7 times a week. Can't say I like it though.

I am lactose intolerant. I just didn't see where he was having dairy with it.

Scoop it into a mug.

That is why those bitches make fun of me.

cup of good homegrown oats (premium is so better than gaye ass quaker)
2 scoops of 'tein
two tablespoons of PB
ice
cup of 2%
= roughly 1,000 cal shake

yep. thats the shiz...

although i cant see the point in eating that many cals in one serving. i dont add the milk
that's way too much protein though. like 90 grams. only need 1 scoop of protein if using milk (oats and pb have some tein too, not significant but enough to add up to 50ish total)

90g is ok pwo if you're on teh joose. I'd hold off on the pb until maybe an hour after. I'd use instant oats pwo instead of the old fashioned oats.

usually it's my breakfast
filling and quick
then one more pwo

are you gentleman of the opinion that a large amount of calories and protein in one sitting will be partially wasted (stored as fat or excreted)?

i hate that. i refuse to believe. i can tell my body to use it all, right? ask nicely? my skinny ass doesn't need that many calories, but even so, i'd rather get it in 4 meals, as opposed to 6. eating...blah.

on a related note, i'm thinking about getting some whey+carb(dextrose/maltodextrin) for a PWO kinda thing only. can you nigs point me to a good deal on some suitable shi'ite?

last year, i tried out this protein factory blend...super low molecular weight...only 350 daltons...60 dollars a pound. naturally, a hardcore gymrat like myself could tell the difference. more money than common sense.

Nope...I've seen them and been curious, but I'm partial to the consistency of rolled oats.

I'm giggling a little over atw eating them raw. I've thrown a half cup into my shake before but that's as close as I've come.

ive never tried them..i know they are a litte better

sooo how long does it take to cook?

there has to be a reason i have been discouraged from eating that instead of old fashioned.

takes longer to cook, but it's like creamy and chewy at the same time...amazing
