it was a thread about the cost of summer day camp programs, and also how I am poor.

$95 PER WEEK?! Holy fucking shit. We got our kids into a summer camp, $50 for 10 weeks for each kid...yes, you read it right, $50 for 10 weeks. Beats the fuck out of spending $50/week per kid to put them in daycare so I can do summer classes.

is it like a park district thing? cuz wow thats cheap. this is a private christian school which also offers summer camp for kids my son's age. the park district near me offers summer camp but it only goes 9-4 (i work till 5) and its $110 a week and you have to send them with a lunch everyday and a beverage.

the one im sending him to provides 2 meals and 2 snacks and the pick-up drop-off hours are extended. i mean i can pick him up at 5 or 5:30 and not have to pay extra.


basically, im fucked.

I think we got the kids into the savlation army or red cross day camp, I can't remember which one it is. Cheap as fuck, 2 meals and 2 snacks per day. Sabrina liked it last summer, except for all the kids that could tell you foul words that I don't even know yet. Oh well, she knows not to say them.
