My dad was a navy sealsman and vietnam vet. My mom paid 30 a month times almost 30 years on his insurance. They divorced in 90 but she kept paying on it because he wouldnt. She didnt make the last deductable and said screw it. he dies 3 months later homeless living under a bridge.
I get a phone call saying he was rushed to the hospital since the hospital had his info . I then get a bill from the hospital for 5 thousand and was turned over to collections last week. Supposivley i signed something. SCREWED

wow.....that sucks....i dont see how they can hold you responsible for some one elses medical bills even if you signed..the only thing that you would end up signing about that type of stuff would be a health care proxy and that doesnt include paying others med bills....unless some one forged your name at a lawyers office stating you were responsible for all bills....but what ever dude..any how that sucks to be you...sorry for your loss
