I like Judas Priest.

Nope...it makes you a metal head!

:)

Freak Daddy is the man when it comes to metal around here...I bow to his cd mix abilities!!!

hell bent, hell bent for leather!!

wrapped tight around me
like a second flesh hot skin
cling to my body
as the ecstasy begins

your wild vibrations
got me shooting from the hip
crazed and insatiable let rip

Eat me alive!!!

I love Judas Priest.....do you like their older stuff, Latimer?

Whiskey woman don't you know that you are drivin' me insane!!!!!

You had to get me started, didn't you, Latimer?

Is it just me, or was headbangers' ball the best show MTV ever had?

Freak Daddy gave me a nice track listing for a wicked mixed cd he came up with. That ended up turning me onto some bands I've never really listened to like Hed PE, Skrape, and Spineshank.

Headbangers ball was one of the best definately. But I guess they made more money taking it off the air and replace it with something mainstream instead. :(

jp is one of my all time favorites. i was somewhat set back when rob came out of the closet, but i loved the group so much i didn't care one bit. they should have gotton back together.

JP rocks. I would of liked to see them live, but I missed my opportunity.
But I do have tickets to the best band in the world, TOOL, they are coming here in a month, they will definatly put on a great show.

ive seen a couple of jp concerts, sceaming for vengence, turbo lover. it was ausome. it was the only rock concert where the lead singer did a solo. no other vocalist would(or should) attemp this.

i love tool also.

Hell yeah! Judas Priest rocks.....

Funny, I saw some patriotic thing on TV soon after the WTC attack, and the accompanying music was the JP's "United" off the British Steel album. Remember that song?
It seemed appropriate, I guess.

I saw Rob Halford on VH1 last weekend (?).

The dude looked like Dracula or something....but he's still cool.

Now that you go back and look at their videos, he did have the gay leather thing going...even he admitted he looked like the biker guy from the Village People. Must have been tough on him hiding that in the Metal world........

I'm fuckin hype as shit on seeing TOOL live, but spongebob, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on the solo thing.
Maynard James Keenen (lead man for Tool) can hit all 8 octets from tenor to soprano. I have seen a live vidoe of him in concert, and he did half of a song solo. It was the most moving thing to see or hear.
I think he could pull off any solo to any on of hi songs.
No offense to JP, their lead man rips shit up too, but MJK has his number in my opinion.

Ahrm... Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan does that too, listen to Made in Japan Live for instance where he duels with ritchie Blackmore´s guitar... IN PITCH!

i think im talking more about what roadblock is talking about, a screaming solo.
i agree, i think manyard does have a great voice.
i am a little partial to halford just because thats who i grew up on.
but i do love tool.

JP is the SHIT!
breakin' the law ,breakin the law....
