I just watched a guy die!

Im sitting at a stop light on my way to grab some lunch, and this car rolls up next to me and stops. The light we are at is in a VERY busy intersection, cars are crusing between 50-60mph in front of us. Anyway, i'm sitting there waiting for the green and the car next to me starts to roll forward . I'm looking at this guy and thinking he better hit the breaks before he rolls into traffic, and what does he do, he keeps on rolling...... BLAM!!! A Ford Superduty smashes the shit out of the car and it goes flying! The car ends up in a parking lot, on it's side, across the street. So i pullover and run up to the car, this lady is allready climbing out the window and screaming to her husband. I look down into the ride and I could tell the guy was a goner for sure, he had tons of blood running out of his ears, he was unresponsive, and his skull looked very mis shaped. Ambulance showed up no more than a minute after the wreck, they pulled they guy out and were doing CPR but it failed..

Pretty trippy sight to see i must say.

shit man, thats awfull. i have been the first to crash sights a couple of times while i was a medic. and its never easy to cope with.

my brother was in vegas in 99 for new year's and some guy beside him tried to encourage my bro to climb the power pole beside them... well, my bro didn't, but the guy did... and he touched one of the wires and fell down dead, electrocuted, right in front of my brother.

turns out he was an olympic hopeful for wrestling i think.

i just have to wonder if that image haunts my brother ever.

ive managed to wittness several sites like this in my life. the worst would have to be the guy on the motorcycle that smacked his face on the side of a semi trailer, it stripped him off the bike and his bike slid about 80 yards further.

sad when stuff like this happens....its crazy how trippy it is to see something like that, even worse that the wife had to see that

i hope that driver wasnt at fault else he's gonna have to live with that for a long time, the sight of a live body going to dead and knowing you did it probably isnt gonna let him sleep much

i really dont think the fact that it was his fault or not, will keep him from not thinking about it everyday.

true, but long term it might help him to deal with it

if the brakes failed on your car and you couldnt swerve or you had some sort of seizure whilst driving, you might be able to come to terms that there is nothing you could have done

Smalls - I'm still tripping on it, I have never seen a dead person in real life before, even at a funeral, it was just bizarre.

I'm doing ok though, and I'm sure that if I hadnt have seen all the faces of death episodes I would be in worse shape. What really got to me was his wife screaming and crying, I pray that i never have to go through that with one of my loved ones

I once saw a guy burn to death on the highway. His car was flipped over and it was pinning him down. No one could do anything for him. In the end he looked like a burned up hot dog. His arms curled upward in a very unnatural position...
