I live in Leuven, Belgium, Europe. Pretty much a campus, except some non students live there too, and its been there since medievil times
Now today I walked out of my front door and a large white convertible classic American car cruises by, there are Kerry-Edwards banners on the car. A tall thin student in a suit with a John Kerry lookalike wig on is standing upright waving at me. Next to him, sitting down, a student who looks somewhat like a younger version of Teresa Heinz Kerry. A middle aged man in a suit is driving.
WHY!?
A kerry impersonation... and going through all that trouble for it too.
There are like 50 American students in this town. Hardly worth campaigning to no matter how political you are.
I suppose it was some kind of joke.
When I first saw this car drive up I thought it was meant to be kennedy and he was going to be shot soon.

Why do people do completely random shit like this
I bet it was something they had to do as some kind of hazing ritual
