Anywho I hate spiders. I've been biten by both a black widow and a brown recluse. This has given me a strong dislike of them. The black widow was not that bad. I just slept it off for 2 days and was good to go. The brown recluse was worse in IMO.

yeah i cant tell one spider from another so i think they are all black widows so i kill them all

It bit me on the calf. The doctor gave me a shot and wrapped it in an herbal wrap and it worked like a charm, but I had, 3 days after the bite, an ulcer on my calf about 1/2" and the skin around it turned black, in about a 3" diameter circle. Yeah it was pretty scary.

On average a person swallows 5 spiders per year.

They like moist cavities, and when you sleep with your mouth open, they crawl in and you swallow them in your sleep. I am not kidding here!

spiders don't bother me...

I'm good with them. My place is in the 'burbs and has at least 3 species in it. I have seen two types that spin webs and one "wolf" jumping spider type that goes hunting thru the apartment. I grew up in a places that were infested with bugs so it is actually a relief that I have not had to buy bug spray living here. Any bugs that get in here don't last long.

I have been living here since '98 so I must have been bitten dozens of times and not noticed. I do have one rule: If it is larger than a dime, kill it.
