Just got elected VP of College Republicans for Texas State Univ. The kid who ran against me owned himself during his speech in front the whole organization. He decided to make the blunder of talking shit about me during his speech and since my speech was right after his it wasnt too hard for me to put down the hammer. After this slapdick election Im wondering what I got myself into with this sort of thing. Not because it is a political organization, but because it is a bunch of kids who dont know their head from their ass. I almost didnt run at all but once I got involved and saw the alternatives I couldnt back out and let them run the joint.

At least this sort of thing looks good on a resume. lol

He started saying how I wasnt as commited to the organization and how I didnt show up to events or activities as much as I should have, etc.

First thing I said was "I dont believe in negative campaigning, dont believe it has any place in an election and I sure as hell dont believe in talking negative about an opponent in front of everyone in this manner. So Im not going to go there and thats all I have to say about that."
Then I went into my speech. You had to be there though, because this kid started literally shaking when he started talking about me and his voice was all quivering. Then I got up there and was very stern and adult-like lol.
