I just bought a digital fat (measuring) scale

I know they`re not relyable but I needed one and it was only $9 If I got the reular ones it would be $35 or so.

This scale measures 10 different people with "athlete mode" as well as regular mode. Not bad. Even if it`s not accurate at least I could see progress increments over time.

lol, i remember Dennis James uses one in his movie. He started out at 18% or something, and had been dieting for 10 weeks, and the thing showed him at 18% LOL.

how do these things measure how much fat you have? i assume you step on it and then it tells you what your bodyfat % is. how does it know just by you stepping on it? does it talk to your feet and they both come up with a reasonable number together? what if you put a boneless, skinless chicken breast on there, do you think it would register 0%? can you do this experiment for me. also if you just put a boob on there it should read like 99-100% shouldn't it

Bioelectrical impedance....sends an electrical signal thru your body which passes thru fat/muscle/water at different rates or something. If you're dehydrated they're WAY off.
