I have an interview for a job

Show up naked and the job is yours.


If you don't know what your doing to begin with you'll look even worse if you try to pretend like you know whats up.

Ask if the job requires alot of thinking. If they say yes, start squirming and ask if you can call your boyfriend to ask him for advice. Then at the end of the interview ask them if htey press charges. When they say yes, mutter 'im never going to find a job now' under your breath.

i'm assuming the front desk as i have no personal training certification

but she did mention that there would be opportunities to go through that process if i was interested and do more on-hands stuff.....but i really am only interested in working there for a summer job and then maybe part time in the fall

They dont require experience they train you, half the trainers I see have no experience what so ever
 
perhaps walk into ther room fully suited up, knee wraps, and wrist supports, take a loaded barbell with say.......455 on it and bang out a few snatches just to show the bitch you are serious, take a pouch of chalk and at reghualr intervals get a good load and clap your hands together creating a dust cloud whilst making grunting noises
 
worst experience of my life ever...i am currently e-mailing the director of the gym over this

here is what happened:

i'm on my way to the interview which is at 10:30....i'm on the highway almost to the gym and i notice it is 10:24 already as traffic had been bad....i speed pull into the parking lot and walk into the gym....glance down at the cell phone it says 10:28

i like to be at least 5 minutes early for all interviews, but this place is a lot more laid back, so i wasn't too concerned as i was still early.

i check in and walk into the interview office, glance down at my cell phone again and it says 10:29....(note that my cell phone is timed to the campus clock so I will NEVER be late for classes, so I know my clock is right)

I sit there waiting to be interviewed for at least 2 more minutes....there is several other applicants waiting

all of a sudden this lady comes out all nervous and says: "I'm sorry Ms. _____ but we will not be interviewing you since you are 6 minutes late. You can go home now." she is like timeliness is very important to us, so you are not even worth interviewing

First of all: IN FRONT OF EVERYONE.....how unprofessional and 2nd of all: I KNEW THAT I WAS NOT F'N LATE

so i kinda sat there in shock, and I felt tears welling up cuz i'm a big baby and I just got up and walked out in front of everybody extremely embarrassed

i walked VERY slowly back to my car, sat in it for a minute and then i pulled my cell phone out looked at the time and it said

10:36

explain to me how i was 6 minutes late?

i've been a faithful student and employee (in another area) of the university for 3 years with no complaints and i pay a lot of money to go there....and to have this happen is so upsetting
 
Shit that sucks. I am always about 15 minutes early but i still never get hired. This hirer's market sucks.

I guess thier clocks run on a different system. Did you point to your own clock and say the time was different on yours?


PS consider yourself lucky if that is the worst experience of your life.

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY THAT I DID NOT WASTE MY PRECIOUS TIME ACTUALLY WORKING FOR A CUNT LIKE THAT.

I would have reacted the same way a few years ago. (I am nearly 37)... but since I have been working on standing up for myself. I would have glanced at my watch and RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF EVERYONE said, "I am sorry Ms soandso, but according to my watch you are out of touch with reality. I am EXACTLY on time. Judging by your behavior at this juncture it is clear to me that I would not want to work for you because I am a human being that DEMANDS to be treated the way that she treats others: with respect and courtesy."

i'm still in shock over it.

I just called my friend who lives on campus and asked her what time she has in her apartment and she has the EXACT time as my cell phone.

I also wrote an e-mail to the director of the gym and I said that 1.) They asked me to come in and interview as they thought I would be a good staff member, I never even thought of working there 2.) A false accusation such as this is very inappropriate and 3.) To "dismiss" me in front of the other applicants in the way they did w/out even giving me the benefit of the privacy of an office so they could tell me the concern and allow me to work through their obvious misunderstanding is beyond unprofessional

I also cc'd the e-mail to student services who handles any mistreatments of students or complaints such as this.

the thing was she was really fat and it was a gym wtf, i mean she worked in the office part but still....?

and werd: yes, i already got a reply from the student services office apologizing and asking if they could call me for more info....hopefully she'll never do that to anyone else


since i'm all dressed up i'm just gonna go to some restaurants here in a sec and get me a serving job....it's seems to be the best bet for college students to make money....so hopefully i'll have another job by the end of the day anyway....i gotta get something soon to support my shopping habit :)

In my working experience many females in power become to freakin bitches. For a short time after I finished college I managed a woman's clothing store. I had been with the company for most of my college career as a part time manager always got glowing reviews.
Anyways when I finished school I end up at a different store in another distract and my supervisors changed. I got my review and I was beyond pissed the other manager had told the supervisor I was to friendly with my co-workers and I treated the girls more like I was there friend and not there boss. (She was jealous cause the girls would get bummed if they were not working with me.) They actually told me that I should treat the girls like kids. I was so mad I wouldn't sign my review cause I didn't agree with it. Anyways jokes on them bitchs shortly after I landed a job making more money then both supervisors.

God, I hate it when a woman will step on another woman like that (usually to pander to a man)... makes me want to vomit. I have had my fair share of fucking cunt psycho bosses! God, when I think about the abuse I used to tolerate from this one bitch.. and then the shit that all the cunts in the office used to backstab over.

That is why I prefer to work with men. ;)
