im considering joining the national guard, and transfering from the NC one to the colorado one, take off spring semester, and move out there. ill get a break on tuition for being in the guard, ill work towards establishing residency, and i could get the hell out of this god forsaken redneck shit-hole.

I never lived in a dorm...or a frat. Thats why I'm almost "drug free". A good friend did farrand hall...he was never the same.

farrand hall was considered the 'academic dorm.' you had to pay extra money just to live there.

my hallway was the most corrupt bunch of kids in the whole place. i swear to god.

it was really fun living there....well, except for a kids' parents threatning to sue me for their stupid son attempting to kill himself.

I lived in NC for three years. It is a beautiful state but the general lack of education grated on my nerves....a lot. They were still fighting the Civil War when I was there 10 years ago.

NC is fucking horrible. ill give you just one of the many, many reasons i hate this state.

i was without power from last wednesday to monday of this week. we had about an inch of ice/snow, and it crippled the fucking state. 1.8 million people lost power because of a fucking inch of ice. no stores were open to buy food/gas, stoplights didnt work, and our area was put under a 10pm curfew for days. so no power = no heat. it got down to 35 degrees IN MY HOUSE, and stayed like that for days. i had no power to cook food with, so i was stuck eating oatmeal with cold water, protein with water, and cans of chef boy-r-de raviolis for about a fucking week. on top of that, this was right before finals. i was lucky to have water though, since a lot of the people in the area use well water which is pumped in...and since there was no electricity, they had no water.

when shit like this happens, it makes you wonder what these inbred rednecks would do if a real disaster struck.
