I have a method to test if GH is real

Hi,
I am new to this site but I thought I'd make a post. I have been on GH for a number of months now. When I first began taking it, I was concerned about buying fake GH so I began to ask around if there was a way to test it. Apperently, everyone around here even the competing bodybuilders, seems rather uneducated on the GH issue. i got alot of conflicting info on dosage, MUCH less the authenticity of GH. Their comments generally were "oh, these guys are connected, its real", Well, that did little to ease my mind, after reading how even pros have bought HCG packaged as GH. So after like 2 weeks of racking my brain I looked up what HCG really was.Ii mean I used it after coming off a cycle but once I dug into its real nature I realized that this is the substance that pregnant women produce. After thinking about it I researched what made a pregnantcy test work and found out that it is testing for the presence of HCG. So, I did a test. I bought 2 tests, put a drop of HCG on one and several drops of GH on the other and ran them under water. Sure enough, the HCG test was positive and the other negative. So, assumiing that 30% of GH is fake (thats just a guess), and conterfiet GH is HCG 90% of the time, that would mean a negative pregnecy test would conclude that one is 97% certian it is real. This could be slightly higher or lower depending on the real numbers but it would not vary much. And have some test is better than no test!
I ran the idea past IronMaster and he found no fault in this test and asked that I post it here in hopes of helping others with this issue.

Spikedog. The method you have described does work very well. Been using the method for over a year and it has saved me on a couple of times. Anyone else used this method.

Well, you know what I think, Spikedog....very smart indeed, and a damn good way to put the new user's mind at ease when going the expensive, but productive, growth hormone route.
The Dog worked this out on his own, one hell of a good introductory post.
As I said yesterday, I have been talking to Spike via email for a while, and am really impressed with his intelligence and congeniality. Great addition to the membership.
Most of the bogus GH out there is HCG based, and this test works, I tried it.

I know I owe some of my friends here some email replies......I'll be back on line in a while and answer all, but duty calls.....hehe.

I have used this method and it works.

SD - Your methodology is good but IMHO the problem with it is the assumption that fake GH is HCG. Spikedog's assumption that GH is fake 30% of the time and that the fakes contain HCG 90% of the time therefore you have only a 3% chance (with a negative preg test) that you have fake GH. While those assumptions do yield that probability I would question the assumption that HCG is used in 90% of the fakes. Maybe in the past, but as the fakes were identified and the fakers got smarter my bet is that they switched to something else. IMHO if HCG is in 25% of the fakes now I would be very surprised.

That being said, if you use my assumption of 25% or less then a negative preg test makes you at best 77.5% confident (hopefully my math is right). My whole point is that any argument can be made based upon supporting numbers that are pulled out of the air. I am not discrediting Spikedog or his post as this is a helpful thread but I wanted to put it in perspective that while a negative test helps you feel more confident your stuff is real, you shouldn't be betting the farm on its legitimacy.

Well I am glad you thought of this all on your own but I have to say that this test was being used 4 or 5 years ago when I got in to the game. As you stated above fake GH can be HCG BUT it could also be other things. One such example is inactive GH. You see, the chemical process of synthesizing HGH is VERY tedious and fragile so it CANNOT be made in just any undergroung lab like some AS. So if it is not synthesized correctly this could be inactive GH. The molecule of GH is very unstable relatively speaking. For Example these export kits seem to be of quite a bit of contreversy. Well nobody really knows where they are made but many claim its legitness because it passed the "pregnancy test" but it could be inactive GH. I am not saying these kits are fake but merely trying to say that it is possible and yet they past the "test". In essence this test is not as acurate as one might think. Just my 2cents.
