a few mins ago, i decided i would take a nice leisurely bath before i started cleaning house
I put some nice warm water in the tub and gingerly stepped in the water, with the wash cloth in hand and some new shower gel i had gotten from my honey over the weekend,(on a side note, i have the lotion, the body spray, and the body butter also)
I used my sweet smelling shampoo and conditioner on my hair, then washed the body with the shower gel from vic secret and finally decided it was time to step out of the tub and i started thinking "oh i should wash the tub down and clean the bathroom when im finished"
i sat up, after about 10 minutes of reading a current novel i am reading
and i turned around to wipe the tub off AND A FUCKING PALMETTO BUG WAS SITTING THERE FREAKING WATCHING ME
OMGGGGGGGGGGG i screamed and doused him with water, sent him down the drain, and with good measure, turned on the HOT water faucet and scalded him
omg i hate those damned things

well thats what i thought too
but redguru told me these little fuckers are freakin bugs that live in mulch shit and stuff
and in the summer time they get worse ro something

According to my google search - they are roaches. American roaches.

They can also come from the trees. I live in the friggin sticks now and they have the flying kind. EWWWWWWWWWWWW

oh and lots of snakes and yellow jackets and mosquitos. Thats why I stay in my damn house. lol

I had never heard of that either.

We have huge flying roaches at the new office and with all girls the boss doesn't have a chance. They are so freaking nasty!! I came in the other morning to find roach turds and some wet stuff on my mouse pad...it went straight into the garbage.
The seem to only come out at night, we have only seen one during the day once and that was the girl next door....hehehehe she ran out of the bathroom freaked out. She got off the toliet and seen it inside the bowl just hanging out.

Yeah - roaches mostly come out in the dark. Did you see the "Dirty Jobs" episode where he had to clean out the San Fransico sewer? Roaches were EVERYWHERE - it was enough to make you all itchy just sitting in your house watching.

no and glad I didn't.
Its funny because I can watch some of the nastiest shows with blood, guts, brain matter flying...whatever, but watching anything with roaches makes me sick.
I started this movie once, killer roaches, they were impregnating people and exploding out of their bellies...one shot of that and I had enough.

LOL, what you call a roach in the north is the tiny little German cousin to the Palmetto Bug. the American Roach normally doesn't infest homes, because it needs a lot of moisture to survive, hangs out in the roots of plants like the Palmetto Bush, and in mulch. it'll come indoors during periods of drought. Normally to add items to your shopping list. BTW, this pic is an actual sized palmetto bug. German cockroaches, that infest homes are much smaller.
