okay, this tranny shop (no perk dont even think about it) has had my jeep for 12 days now. they just gave me an estimate. this guy has done 2k in repairs(probably more) for me before, funny this is the same problem i had 6mo ago. he said he fixed my driveline angle so this wouldnt happen again.

last time i got it back and the speedometer didnt work. too bad the closest place that does supposed good work would have been twice the tow bill i paid anyways ($110 for 35 miles drive off)

this shit sucks. same damn problem.

Thats why my next car is gonna be a honda civic hybrid.

First scheduled tune up is at 110,000 miles!

60 MPG.

You can practucly weld the hood shut and drive it for 150K.

No matter how well something is fixed it is more likely to break than the original. Sucks that they are taking that long just to figure out what is wrong. That's why I do most of my own repairs, done in my time frame and only have to pay for parts.

i would have no problem tearing it apart to fix it, but im at school right now. no tools or space. they actually just didnt touch it, he found out the day after it was there.

Yeah that sucks a lot. You might see what they can do to make up for having it for so long without doing any work. Or else once you get it back just firebomb the place.

Car shops suck. I have a budget boost on mine and most places won't even look at my suspension or anything underneath. Is there something I can do legally about this if they refuse to serve me? They must not want to work on it because it's modified, afraid of lawsuits. Stupid fucks. Worse could happen if something goes wrong with my car after they refused to fix it.
