When life gets to rough and you feel like you just can't take it any more, drown your sorrows in booze. Make sure you have a light buzz going on throughout the day and if possible get shit faced at every available opportunity.

I have thought like that before when times were really hard for me. It always came back to the same realization.
I don't "hate" life. I dislike the people in it right now. If I get rid of those people and negate those situations life will be enjoyable again. "Hate" is too strong to use regularly.
Happiness comes in small doses and you have to find in. Most times it will not fall in your lap.
