I Hate Computers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have basically a new Dell Demension and for four I hate been waiting to get a new hard drive put it because my other one CRASHED loosing all my info even my password to get back on to here. So I just wanted to vent and say computers are truly made by the DEVIL!!!

Have any you ever experienced a hard drive crash?

hmmm, since computers exist soley as a function of logic, it doesn't surprise me at all that you don't get along with them

and yeah - one time I was on my computer and I heard a "SPROING" I looked down to see what the sound was, and by the time I looked back up, the computer was dead.

one of the read heads servos were toasted.

you don't expect a car to last forever - there are moving parts that fail.
harddrives are the same way.

Basically once a hard drive is over 4 years old it's on borrowed time. You should have everything important backed up because it will eventually go bad.
