YES! Vicks would help..... :) I can't breathe, my throat hurts and I am coughing.

That sounds like what I had. Everytime I coughed I wanted to die.
 
I hear ya.

I couldn't go to sleep sunday night and I had class at 8:30... then this morning I was so sick I barely got out of bed and missed my morning class. Now i'm on antibiotics and can't go 5 minutes without blowing my nose. No gym for me tonight. :worried:

Ok, so vicks for the breathing, and I have a coating for the throat, and I could bring some Robitussin for the cough.

Your nose runs? If your feet smell to, then you're just upside down for a bit.

I usually do, but I don't have the energy right now. It sucks. So now I am sick AND sloppy. lol

welli woke up yesterday feeling like crap with some chest tightness and sinus headache and congestion there too. i decided to go to the gym i skipped deadlifts but i did do other back/bi exercises and 45 min of cardio. today i could barely drive me eyes hurt so bad and im dizzy and i felll asleep on my desk at work LOL so no working out for me till i can take a deep breath without coughing and wheezing.

i think i have the same thing. Right now im on pseudoephedrine, guaifenisen, aspirin (about 4 grams a day), cough drops & claritin.

ive read that working out when you have illnesses below your neck is a bad idea. your body needs its energy. Also id eat more protein if i were you, one of the amino acids is used for fuel by the white cells in the immune system.

Just make sure that you don't do anything to pull it down into your chest. If you think a spring cold puts you down for a while, try pneumonia.
 
Daisy take some fresh ginger grind it up and boil it with water strain the ginger out and drink it. It should help with the congestion.

Interesting, I never knew that. Unfortunately, when i am sick, all I want is carbs....the thought of protein is NOT appetizing! I'll have to force down some shakes.
