Sadly, I'm not as pumped about this machine as I was for the original xbox. Halo at launch made it soooo worth it. The games out right now are just "meh".

I agree. It'll be a couple months before the killer games are released. Check out Prey, Gears of War, Oblivion, and Ghost Recon 3 if you haven't already. Now those games will make a person cream in his or her panties.

I have definitely checked out those games, way back in like may and june when they were first showing videos and images of that shit. But I dont think I've seen ghost recon 3.

After much analysis of the xbox 360 launch, I can honestly say that Microsoft did a piss poor job promoting it. Seriously. When Sony comes out with it's playstation 3, I predict that it's going to completely mask that which was the killer system, the xbox 360. Business wise, microsoft did it wrong.

When it comes to either systems, the xbox 360 definitely has more potential than the ps3, but when people buy a system at launch or at anytime, they dont want potential because potential means that they have to wait. This doesnt make sense either because now microsoft is trying to appeal to even more casual gamers, and casaul gamers are very in the moment in that they want to be pleased right away or else it just aint worth their time.

The problem spawns from that fucking global launch. And they know that the only god damn reason they did that was to steal the asain market from sony cause they know if they waited another 6 months or so to release over there, they couldnt compete. This creates another problem though, a shortage back home. Really, they are gambling big time trying to take over the whole market right off the bat. Bill is fucking greeeddyy (yes I realize he probably has shit all to with the business decisions of the xbox, he's just a till now).
