I got pulled over last night

dirty~d~

The excuse I got was 'you didn't signal when changing lanes'. Fine, whatever. I was speeding too, but I wasn't going to say anything. He takes my license, registration and POI back to his car. 5 minutes later he brings me a ticket with just his phone number and name written on it. ;)

I won't be calling. :chomp:

god i hate girls

was he hott?

Eh... not really. He looked all of about 14 and since he didn't offer the handcuffs, he's not really my type anywho.

When I made it to my friend's house I told her what happened and she said the same thing happened to one of her co-workers last week in the same area.

You say you are a smart women, but when you make comments like "all cops are gross" it makes your credibility sink.
I'm sorry you are right. *MOST* cops gross me out. Sorry, my experiences have been pretty negative.

Dude.. your grammar and sentence structure is truly horrific (usually I won't judge too much on typing because everyone makes typos but you have done it so often). I am not kidding. And worse, you constantly try to sound smart. What's the name of your school again?

Most cops are good people. My uncle and coiusin are two of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. They get trapped in the labeling theory (You should be familiar with that as a psyche major) when all day and all night every day they deal with societies worse and the next thing you know they think everyone is trying to put one past them. Hence they treat everyone suspiciously. Thats why I change from striving to be a cop like my uncle to an engineer. I think I would have ended up falling into one of the ones that treated people like crap. But regardless pulling someone over and robbing them from their right to roam by abusing your own authority granted by the citizens just to meet a girl is abuse of power and wrong!!

I know not all are bad. I know there are MANY good ones. But if you live here in Chicago, you would understand what I am talking about. Every day there is a new case involving a Chicago police officer...

Morton Grove (where I live half the time) doesn't really have bad crime so they get bored and write a lot of non moving violation tickets which I don't mind - I just mind when they abuse their power. :) My brothers good buddy is a cop, too. And I know exactly what you're talking about - when you deal with the scum of society, you tend to form opinions and act differently..

I will not be turning anything into IA. I have friends in law enforcement... now how would that sit with them, over something as harmless as a guy being a guy? I wasn't skeezed out by it, just surprised. For the record I didn't flirt with him. Hell, he looked barely old enough to drive. I like my men older. :qt: Few things in this world catch me off guard and this was one of those few.

I was in the Chevy with Godsmack cranked. :garza: :garza:

I will probably be going for a ride (of the two wheeled kind) with the guys on Sunday. :rolly:

I've tried to ignore this post. However, it's an obvious case of police corruption, using your status/authority for personal gain. If your cop friends don't support you then they're just as corrupt as the guy who pulled you over in an attempt to get laid.Every time this guy tries to get laid degrades all of the police officers. The fact multiple women have beeen subjected to sexual harrassment says a lot. Eventually, this guy will have a lawsuit filed against him and your tax dollars will be used to pay it. You must have a VERY low opinion of men if you consider it "normal" behavior for a man, perhaps rape should be considered "normal" for men. I don't even hit on chicks at the gym, I wait for them to hit on me. Any police friends you have should consider it a public service for him to be "taken cae of."

I got a ticket the other day, but I was guilty, although I'm pretty sure I wasn't going as fast as the cop said. Probably just increased the fine. I will be forced to drive under the speed limit for the next 6 months so it doesn't go on my record. Not a bad thing, but the fine amount is outrageous.
